Our program provides a free Blood Pressure Monitor, 10 Glucose Test Strips and a Glucose Monitor to individuals who are prediabetic or diabetic. If you or someone you know can benefit from our offer, share this offer with them!
With these tools, they can monitor their health regularly. We also offer the latest glucose monitors that give readings of both blood pressure and glucose levels, essential information needed when managing either condition effectively.
Our staff will be more than happy to assist you with any questions related to using these devices and provide additional resources if further help is required. The goal of this program is not only to help those who have already been diagnosed but also to provide preventive care by intervening early before long-term consequences become evident, thus giving clients the best possible chance to avoid worst-case scenarios often seen within uncontrolled Diabetic states, i.e. organ failure stroke. We strive to empower our clients with the necessary tools and knowledge to take charge of their healthcare destiny to lead a healthier life free from any unwanted medical complications associated with either type 2 and type 1 Diabetes or prediabetes, respectively.
Prediabetes and diabetes are two profoundly impactful health conditions that often negatively affect the quality of life of those affected and are a source of concern for loved ones. Both prediabetic and diabetic individuals may experience various signs and symptoms, including increased thirst, frequent urination, fatigue or exhaustion after meals, blurred vision due to high blood sugar levels in the eye lens tissue (diabetics only), slow wound healing process/infections because of poor circulation caused by reduced oxygen delivery to tissues; as well as numbness or tingling sensations in feet.
It is essential for all people at risk for developing either condition – such as being overweight with a family history –to monitor their glucose levels regularly through fasting plasma glucose tests and essential hemoglobin A1C tests every three months. Blood pressure should also be monitored routinely since it increases when your body’s cells become resistant to insulin-stimulated uptake from food intake, eventually leading to hypertension if not managed properly over time.
Hypertension
(High Blood Pressure)
Adds stress on organs like the kidneys and the heart, leading to more complications associated with both types 2 & 1 Diabetes, respectively. Additionally, regular physical activity will help your overall health, including blood pressure, thus reducing any further damage done already via unhealthy lifestyle choices, e.g. excess alcohol consumption/smoking habits.
Overall, monitoring one's biomarkers—including temperature, weight loss or gain fluctuations, dietary changes alongside mentioned ones above —is essential so an individual knows what needs attention before presenting late-stage consequences typically seen within uncontrolled Diabetic states, i.e. long-term organ failure, stroke; peripheral neuropathy amongst other related issues. Early detection and treatment of prediabetes or diabetes can help an individual reduce the risk of developing complications. So, regular check-ups with your healthcare provider are essential if you are at risk for either condition.
